Early 2020 Roanoke Wedding

Laura & Michael downsized their beautiful wedding to 10 people and held a brief ceremony in Roanoke, Virginia. As the photographer, I made person #10 which meant that even their wedding coordinator was unable to attend the service... so crazy! Yet, everything was so quiet and peaceful in an unexpected way. We had the entirety of Hotel Roanoke to ourselves, I heard from behind the desk that only three rooms were checked into. Laura and Michael dressed in their own rooms, their joy beamed right through the walls. They met in the courtyard to see each other and have photos taken and then we made our way to their ceremony, one I won’t forget. xx, Karissa
